May Paschal Circle

Join the TEC community for prayer and fellowship!!! The May Paschal Circle will be Friday, May 4, 2012, at the home of Mickey and Mary Giroir (5622 Holly Springs, Baton Rouge, LA 70817). Prayer begins at 7:00 p.m. After prayer, at 7:30, we'll have social time and snacks. All are welcome, even friends and family who have not yet made a TEC retreat.

Summer TEC Retreats

Summertime is fast approaching and so are the summer TEC retreats. Please, prayerfully consider applying to work team on one of the upcoming TEC retreat weekends. It is only through your commitment that we are able to offer others the opportunity to encounter Jesus and experience His Paschal Mystery on a TEC retreat. Remember that if selected for team, you are required to attend the Focus and Potluck meetings as well as several other meetings set by individual teams in preparation for the retreat weekend. Key dates for TEC 116 in June are listed below. Also, please start inviting friends and family to apply to attend TEC 116 as Tecites. Applications for both team and Tecites can be found on this site.

TEC 116 will be June 22-25th, 2012

Team Applications are due May 10th.

Summer TEC Leadership

Are you thinking about applying for a leadership position on a TEC retreat this summer? If so, please, click here to fill out the leadership application. By filling out the application, you are making the Lay Facilitators aware that you are interested in being considered for a leadership position on a future TEC (not for a specific retreat). Please note that submission of this application does not guarantee that you will be selected for a leadership position. All applications will be prayerfully evaluated. It is never too early to start thinking about your summer plans and to prayerfully decide if a TEC retreat will be a part of those plans!

TEC New Orleans Leadership

The TEC New Orleans community is organized and led by a Core Team, comprised of four separate ministry teams and a central leadership council. This leadership structure allows up to 40 members of our community to be involved in leadership. A new Core Team is discerned at the beginning of each academic year. We want to thank everyone who has served on Core Team this past year and invite them and all TEC community members to prayerfully discern a call to serve on Core Team in the future. The structure of the Core Team is more fully described in the Leadership Vision Document below.

2011-2013 Leadership Council

The 2011-2013 Leadership Council consists of Floyd Bonneval and Mickey Giroir, Facilitators; Sara O'Regan, Spiritual Formation Team; Cecilia Wilson, Retreat Ministry Team; Nick Simoneaux, Community Life Team; and Carol Cancienne, Administrative Team. They are joined by Fr. John Arnone, Spiritual Director; Deacon Terry Manieri, Assistant Spiritual Director; and John Smestad, Jr, Director of the Archdiocesan CYO Office.
